Airline Discounts
SIOR has negotiated a 5% flight discount with American Airlines for American, American Eagle and Oneworld Alliance Partners. Please use discount code A3648BB when making an online reservation at www.aa.com or call 800.433.1790.

SIOR has also negotiated a discounted fare with United Air Lines. You must purchase your ticket no less than seven (7) days prior to your departure date. Please use discount code 577WC when making a reservation by calling the MeetingsPlus Reservation Service Center at 1.800.521.4041. The hours for the reservation center are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm (EST) and Saturday thru Sunday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (EST).

Attire
The attire for all convention activities is casual: men - slacks, knit shirt or sports shirt, sweater and women - pants, sweater, casual dress or skirt.

Audio Recordings
Most of the educational sessions will be recorded and available on the SIOR Web site shortly after the convention.

Badges
Convention educational and networking activities are open to all registered individuals.. Your badge is proof of registration, so please wear it to all convention functions, including receptions and meals.

Exhibitor Raffle
All registered members and non-members will receive an exhibitor passport in their registration packet. In order to be entered into the raffle, visit all participating exhibitors' booths to have your passport initialed. Winners will be drawn on Saturday, April 26. You must be present to win!

Ground Transportation

It is not recommended to rent a car due to the downtown busy traffic conditions in the Washington D.C. area.

Parking

Street parking is limited and metered in the area near the hotel. For details about parking at the hotel, please visit the hotel information page.

Metro Rail
The Washington, DC Metrorail system has an elevated Metrorail station connected to the concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Metrorail fare cards may be purchased at machines located at all entrances to the Airport Metrorail station. The station is also fully accessible via elevators. Note: Metrorail is a great way to travel to the hotel if you fly into Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). Take the blue line to the "Metro Center" station. Follow the signs to the 11th street exit which will allow you to exit into the Washington Center/Grand Hyatt Lobby. A one-way trip will cost approximately $1.00 - $1.35, depending upon the time of day.
