OPENING COCKTAIL PARTY (Sponsored by Panattoni)

 

You won't want to miss this networking opportunity!  Join fellow attendees for entertainment, heavy hors d'oeuvres and full open bar poolside (weather permitting)..  This is the one event that everyone attends!  Admission to this event is included with all full registrations except Daily Registrants. SIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT AT SALT CREEK GOLF CLUB (New Location)

 

 

 

 

Salt Creek Golf Club, located beneath Mt. Miguel, offers a unique golf experience to all levels of players. Salt Creek was voted one of the top 50 Golf courses in southern California as well as rated 4.5 stars out of 5 on the Best Places to Play by Golf Digest.  Salt Creek will surely offer a unique and challenging golf experience.

 

TIME:  12:15 pm – 5:45 pm

 

INCLUSIONS:    Roundtrip transportation via motor coach, green fees and range balls, modified shotgun start, golf carts, beverages on cart and boxed lunch (en route).

 

PRICE:  $150.00 per guest.  Golf club rentals are not included in the above pricing and are available directly through the golf course.  Please let us know if you need to rent golf clubs.

AN AFTERNOON AT THE BEACH

A motor coach will depart hourly, providing a continuous shuttle to and from the Manchester Grand Hyatt and Mission Beach.  You can join and return at your leisure, enjoying all the fun of the volleyball tournament or the excitement that is the “real” San Diego!

SIOR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT (Hosted by the Young Professionals)

 


TIME:   12:45 pm – 4:45 pm

 

INCLUSIONS:   Roundtrip transportation via motor coach

 

MINIMUM:  32 players (4 players per team)                                                                                               

 

PRICE:  $65.00 per person

 

This is your chance to claim victory to the first ever SIOR Beach Volleyball Tournament hosted by the Young Professionals.

Spend the afternoon at the world famous Mission Beach and join fellow SIORs in a friendly volleyball tournament adjacent to The Wave House, Mission Beach’s hottest attraction.  Tammy Leibl, a 3-time Olympian who played on the U.S. Women’s Olympic Volleyball Team in 1988, 1992 and 1996, will be in attendance!  Players will be able to take photos with Tammy and hear about her Olympic experiences.

Exploring CORONADO


 

TIME:  1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

 

INCLUSIONS:  Roundtrip transportation via motor coach, narrated Sightseeing Tour en route, personalized walking tour of Coronado (1½-hours; 8 block area) to include guided tour surrounding Hotel del Coronado,

free-time after the tour for guests to explore Coronado and the inside of the world renowned Hotel del Coronado

 

MINIMUM:  25 guests

 

PRICE:   $60.00 per guest

 

Join us for a special tour—designed to provide guests with a complete history of one of California's most charming coastal resort towns.  Beginning in the 1880's, when Coronado was only a shrub‑filled peninsula, we look back over its growth into one of the most fabled playgrounds of its time.

 

This one and a half hour walking tour begins with a guided tour surrounding the fabled landmark, Hotel del Coronado, considered the last of the extravagantly conceived seaside hotels, and a monument to the past with its turrets, tall cupolas, and Victorian gingerbread. Since opening in 1888, Hotel del Coronado has been visited by presidents, royalty and celebrities.

 

The tour continues to the surrounding area, highlighting such attractions as the Glorietta Bay Inn (former residence of John D. Spreckels, the "Sugar King"), the cottage of the Duchess of Windsor and other interesting sights in the City of Coronado.  Following the tour, you will enjoy free time to wander the shops and beaches of Coronado.

as well as comfortable walking shoes.

INCLUSIONS: Roundtrip transportation via motorcoach,1½-hour gallery tour with Michael Jacques and free-time on own following the tour to explore La Jolla

 

MINIMUM: 25 guests

 

PRICE:   $65.00 per guest

 

California at its finest! Known to many as "The Jewel by the Sea," La Jolla boasts rocky cliffs, sandy coves, palm trees and brilliant flowers. It is also home to numerous boutiques, galleries and artists’ studios. On this excursion you will be treated to an exclusive insider’s tour of local artists’ studios and some of the most spectacular galleries in town.

Along this walking tour of four or five of the best art galleries in La Jolla, your guide explains the principles and artistic devises used for selecting works.  After the one and a half-hour art tour, you’ll have time to peruse the galleries, stop by a local café, or walk down to the cliffs to watch nature’s “art” unfold before your very eyes.

PLEASE READ:  All tours will depart from the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Tickets for tours

and events will be in your registration envelope at the SIOR Registration area during

posted registration hours. Tour registration deadlines are as posted per tour. Additional

tickets may be sold on–site on a first-come, first-served basis at the SIOR registration

desk, if space is available.  If registrations do not meet minimums posted, you may

choose another tour or opt for a refund. 

 

Should you cancel your reservation, cancellations must be made in writing and must be

received by the cancellation date indicated.  A $25 service charge will be deducted from

your refund.  Individuals with special needs should indicate that need on the registration

form.
