Kayak Excursion:  Munyon Island Mangrove Eco-Tour (1:30pm-5:00pm)
Relax and feel the hustle and bustle of civilization melt away as you paddle out into “natural” Florida. This expedition rambles amongst the tropical trees and vegetation native to South Florida as you paddle through the shallow, natural waters teeming with Blue Herons, White Ibis, Roseate Spoonbills, Kingfishers, Ospreys, and Great Egrets. Kayakers are also usually able to spot raccoons and with luck, a manatee or two. While traveling the estuary, pay special attention to the water’s edge, treetops, and the shallow water below your kayak for a surprise visit from a marine mammal. Keeping fairly quiet and aware will almost guarantee an awesome sighting. And of course, there is plenty of time for swimming, walking around, and listening to the unique historical story of Dr. Munyon’s Hotel Hygiea.

Price: US$150 (Includes roundtrip transportation, exclusive kayak excursion, guide and kayak instruction, kayak and equipment rental, iced beverages, coolers, and granola bars)

Note: All participants must wear protective footwear - no sandals.  You will get wet on this tour; so don't forget to bring a towel!
