The committees conduct the business of the Foundation. There are six committees of the Board of Trustees.

Executive Committee
This committee performs the executive management of the Foundation and formulates policy to propose for action to the Board of Trustees.

Fundraising Committee
This committee is responsible for raising revenues - both operating and capital funds for the Foundation. It plans and conducts the annual Phonathon. It generates ideas for fundraising events and plans and develops all fundraising activities.

Programs and Public Relations Committee
This committee is responsible for the identification and development of educational programs to bring to the Society Chapter level on a cost effective basis, and for publicizing and marketing the Foundation and its programs and maintaining the website. It develops the Foundation's promotional materials and disseminates Foundation news and announcements to Society members and the public via print and internet. It enhances awareness of the Foundation and its activities.
